Chicago Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math & Science teacher for Grades 7-8 to join our community for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the middle school level, a background in math and science, the ability to differentiate learning, and the willingness to work collaboratively. Applicants should enjoy working side-by-side with adolescents and have an interest in utilizing our urban environment while embracing the many resources that a world-class city has to offer. This is a unique invitation to work with a group of approximately fifteen motivated students, supportive parents, and experienced, dedicated staff.

Requirements:

• Montessori Adolescent or Elementary 6-12 AMI Diploma is highly preferred but not required; the candidate is interested in sponsored teacher training.

• 2+ years of teaching experience 

• A passion to share expertise with adolescents

• Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with others

This is a full-time position that accommodates some daily schedule flexibility. Salary range is $60,000-$70,000, and compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Includes health and 401k benefits, paid holidays, a 9-month teaching schedule, and tuition remission. Teacher training sponsorships are available.
